It’s nearly Bank Holiday Weekend! Which means that it is nearly time for CHAPTER 19: SUPER STRONG STYLE 16 – TOURNAMENT EDITION 2015 – Presented by SPLX.  First off, the most important news:

So hopefully travel woes will be averted for everyone.  Do remember that it is a bank holiday though, so do allow extra time for travelling.  Right then, important information. PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS! On the two show days we will be INCREDIBLY busy. The information below should answer most of your questions. If you’re struggling on a show day, head to the PROGRESS Fan Page on Facebook and someone should be able to help you out.

The Electric Ballroom, Camden

Day One – Sunday 24th – Doors open at 2pm, show starts at 4pm, finished by around 7.30pm (approx)

Day Two – Monday 25th – Doors open at 12pm, show starts at 2pm, finished by around 7pm (approx; longer show with two breaks)

Both shows have long since SOLD OUT. However, thanks to our re-selling partners over at Twickets a handful of fans have tickets for sale at face value or less. This is the ONLY way that you have a chance of getting a ticket for either the weekend or one of each of the individual shows. DO NOT BUY OR SELL TICKETS TO THE TOUTS OUTSIDE. YOU (OR WHOEVER BUYS THEM) WILL NOT GAIN ENTRY TO THE SHOW.

Click here to head to the PROGRESS Twickets Microsite and see if you can grab a spare ticket for SSS16.

WE DO NOT ISSUE PHYSICAL TICKETS. Either print off and bring your PayPal receipt (or Twickets receipt if you purchased via them) or show it to us via your Smartphone. Please also bring ID with you just in case you lose your ticket confirmation.

Upon entry you will be issued a wristband that corresponds to where you will be sitting (front row, gold, silver or general) or standing.  PROGRESS Security will be there to help you if you get stuck knowing where you’re meant to be.  If you’ve got a wristband for general seating, don’t try and sit on the front row.  You will be moved.

IMPORTANT! Weekend Ticket Holders will be issued an additional “weekend” wristband. DO NOT REMOVE THIS AFTER THE SHOW ON SUNDAY OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GAIN ENTRY ON MONDAY! Also, weekend ticket holders WILL NOT have to queue up on the Monday. Just flash that wristband and walk right in.

All seats and standing positions are first come, first served within the relevant area.  So if you’re standing and want to be up on the balcony, you’ll need to be there pretty early.

Some people like queueing, some don’t.  The queue often starts very early, but you will still have a seat or standing place as long as you have a ticket.  Queuing early is not mandatory (although our queue is pretty awesome).

As always, we’ll be selling lots of lovely PROGRESS merch on the day, including new t-shirts and snapbacks, a SSS16 EXCLUSIVE poster, mugs, bar blades and more. We accept cash and cards.

If you have pre-ordered any of our new stuff but want to collect it at the show, make sure that you have emailed us to let us know.  If we haven’t replied, don’t panic.  We will have made a note. We are properly busy.

Our lovely friends at SPLX will also be selling their merchandise over the weekend as well, so make sure that you go see what they have to offer.  Also, many of the individual wrestlers will also be selling their own merchandise so check that out too.

Once again, THERE IS NO LONGER A RAIL STRIKE. Still, here is a load of stuff to make your journey easier, however you may be travelling.

The nearest tube station to the Electric Ballroom is Camden Town on the Northern Line.  The venue is literally a few yards away from that.

Over weekends some underground lines may be affected by planned engineering works.  You can head to the TFL Website and make sure that the underground line you use is running as usual on Sunday and Monday.

If you are planning on using the train to come into London from slightly further afield, then whilst the strike isn’t happening now there may still be engineering works on the line that you’re using (usually trains subject to this are replaced by buses).  Click here to check that your rail journey won’t be affected by anything like that.

Bear in mind if you are driving into London that it is both a Bank Holiday and the Playoff Finals at Wembley, so allow a bit of extra time for traffic.

Because of the Bank Holiday, many parking restrictions around the venue will be lifted for the Monday, making parking a LOT easier.  Here are a couple of links to help out with that:

Parking in Camden

Parking in Islington

Personally, we recommend parking in the Islington area (somewhere like Tufnell Park) and getting the tube in.

If you’ve never been to a PROGRESS show before, then you’re in for a treat.  It’s loud, raucous and proper good fun. Drinking is fine, chanting stuff is encouraged. Just come and have a bloody good time for a couple of days.

All 16 wrestlers who are scheduled to appear in the tournament will be wrestling on BOTH days.  Of course, some will advance in the tournament, whilst the others will appear again in other matches on Day Two.

For your own safety, don’t get too close to certain wrestlers. And if a wrestler or PROGRESS Security member tells you to move… then move. Rapidly. That normally means a 200lb man is about to land on you.

During intervals you are free to leave the venue to get food (there is no food available inside the Ballroom) if you need to.

Jim Smallman and Glen Joseph are hosting a live PROGCAST on the Sunday evening at the nearby Holiday Inn Camden Lock (30 Jamestown Road,London NW1 7BY). This has also SOLD OUT and we are at capacity. If we have any additional tickets, we will let you know via social media.

Jim and Glen will hold a Q and A session and chat to a few guys from the SSS16 tournament.  This is scheduled to start at about 9.30pm, with doors opening at 9pm.  There is a bar, and it should be finished by around 11.30pm.

We’ve given you a LOT of information there, all in the bid to ensure that you have as hassle-free a weekend as possible.  Now get yourselves down to the Ballroom on Sunday and Monday and make some fucking noise, yeah?

Oh yes, and of course: The one rule of PROGRESS that you all must remember:

Don’t be a dick.

See you all at the weekend!

Jim, Jon and Glen
